You will look in vain for reports on luxurious hotels or 5-star restaurants. I like it simple and practical. Homestays, family-run accommodations, camper vans or tents are more my thing. This way is more authentic and at the same time I can support the locals instead of big hotel chains and investors. Moreover, I love to try the local cuisine. I usually look for restaurants that don’t have tourists. Because there you usually get much better, more authentic and, above all, cheaper dishes. For this it is usually not so nicely prepared.
