When I travel, I want to get to know the country’s culture and people. I want to get the most authentic insights possible. That’s why I try to avoid tourist attractions and gain experience aside from them. This gives you the opportunity to get in better contact with locals and their culture. On this page you will find my personal moments with culture and people such as the traditional water fight at the New Year festival in Laos. But you will also find posts about visits to cultural institutions such as museums, temples, or historical buildings here. Have fun reading.
