You will look in vain for reports on luxurious hotels here. I like it simple and practical. Homestays, family-run accommodations, camper vans or tents are more my thing. I find this type more authentic and at the same time I can support the locals instead of large hotel chains and investors. I also like to use private accommodation from hosts who advertise their apartments on corresponding online platforms. Sometimes I also look for unusual accommodations, such as a houseboat, a tree house, or a castle. I also really want to try couch surfing. Let’s see what the future brings.
